Restore Your Smile and Confidence with Dental Implants

Missing teeth can impact your life in more ways than you might think. They can affect not only your ability to chew comfortably, but also your speech and your self-esteem. Dental implants offer a natural-looking, long-term solution for replacing missing teeth.

What are Dental Implants?

Dental implants are small, biocompatible titanium posts that are surgically placed into your jawbone. Over time, the implant fuses with the bone in a process called osseointegration. This creates a strong foundation for a dental crown, bridge, or denture that looks and functions just like a natural tooth.

Benefits of Dental Implants

Natural look and feel

Dental implants are designed to mimic the appearance and function of natural teeth. They are incredibly strong and stable, allowing you to eat and speak with confidence.

Improved oral health

Unlike bridges, implants don’t require altering healthy teeth. This helps preserve your natural tooth structure and promotes long-term oral health.

Durability and longevity

Dental implants are built to last a lifetime with proper care. They are a much more permanent solution than dentures or bridges.

Increased confidence

A complete, healthy smile can significantly boost your confidence and self-esteem. Dental implants can help you smile brighter and feel better about yourself.

Types of Implant Prosthesis

Single Tooth Replacements
Single implant replaces the root structure of lost tooth over which crown is fabricated. Thus the aesthetics and function of the lost tooth are restored.
Implant Supported Fixed Teeth
If multiple adjacent teeth are missing, they can be replaced with two or more implants. These implants can be connected to one another to form an implant supported bridge.
Implant Supported Overdentures
Implant supported dentures are advised if all the teeth in both the jaws are missing. This involves use of implants to support the dentures which will increase their stability, improved chewing ability and phonetics.

Implant Vs Dental Bridges

At Om Dental Clinic, Implant & TMJ Center, our team will critically analyse your mouth and weigh the advantages of each treatment you qualify for. It may be that your situation is best suited for an implant, while someone else is a better candidate for a bridge.
